RAF has designed an automatic salt dispenser that sprays salt into all conventional sized fish tanks.
The salting device spreads an even salt layer into the tanks and there are four different salt quantity selections offered. The salting device is designed in such a manner that two tanks underneath it can simultaneously be filled with layers of fish, which expedites the processing.
The salt dispensing device is connected to a salt silo equipped with a shaker in order to spread the salt more effectively down into the snail-like feed hose. The salt dispenser feeding operation is therefore totally automatic and warning lights notify when the silo is about to run out of salt. This makes it easier for fork lift operators to determine the salt quantity in the silo, which in turn lessens the risk of needlessly halting the processing operation.
The salt dispensing devices have now been operated for a number of years and have fully lived up to expectations. Maintenance has been negligible and the units are incredibly long-lasting.
